Touch screen for Modular
using TouchOSC I’m controlling Clavia Nord modular.
I created a cutom patch for the nord modular and using pd as converter, I’m cenverting 110 controls from OSC to midi CC to provide a nice GUI to that great nord synth. the nord patch is a 3 versatils instruments.
1 synth with drawable notes and gate.
2 analog drum parts on 4×4 matrix full featured parameters.
OSC stand for open sound control.Â
TouchOSC is a Ipod application to design user interface. It’s sending OSC signal over wifi. Some applications can read for OSC (more an more)
h e x l e r also provides a nice tool to generate the PD patch called touchOSC2PD. It is very usefull and it save lots of PD time.
